Requirements
- 10 to 15+ years in engineering leadership
- Led 30–50 person engineering organizations
- Experience scaling SaaS platforms in ecommerce martech or developer tools
- Strong opinions on API design and developer experience
- OpenAPI REST conventions and agent-tool patterns experience
- Modern stack fluency in PHP Node React or Shopify ecosystem
- Comfortable operating in an exit-process posture with discretion
- Vast experience with large data sets
- Must be a database expert

Day to day
- Lead the engineering organization and own technical delivery for rebuyengine.com.
- Set engineering strategy architecture direction and raise the bar for code reliability and security.
- Guide Engineering Managers and pod teams while partnering with Product and COO on roadmap and execution.
- Ship the V2 REST API surface OpenAPI spec and agent-readiness layer for the Shopify ecosystem.
