Requirements
- 15+ years in engineering leadership
- Experience leading 30-50+ person engineering organizations
- Background scaling SaaS platforms in ecommerce martech or developer tools
- Deep expertise in software architecture distributed systems APIs cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
- Experience building API-first products and developer platforms using modern REST and OpenAPI standards
- Strong understanding of CI/CD DevOps observability incident management and engineering operations
- Experience optimizing application performance platform latency database performance cloud infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems
- Modern stack fluency with PHP Node React and Shopify ecosystem helpful
- Comfortable operating with discretion in an exit-process posture
- Vast experience with large data sets and database expertise

Day to day
- Lead the engineering organization and own technical delivery for rebuyengine.com.
- Build and refine reliable release processes QA standards and incident response practices that support frequent low-risk deployments.
- Partner with Product executives and cross-functional teams to shape roadmap priorities manage engineering KPIs and scale the team thoughtfully.
