Requirements

  • 2 years of directly relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithm design
  • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols such as 5G LTE WCDMA GSM 802.11 or Bluetooth Low Energy
  • Experience developing wireless communications systems such as FSK OFDM or MIMO
  • Hands-on experience with lab testing and characterization
  • Experience with Matlab or Python and or C C++ for algorithm development modeling and simulation
  • Experience with HLS silicon prototyping FPGA development and emulation systems
  • Experience bring-up of real systems in silicon FPGA or SoC and lab test equipment
  • Ability to work independently and learn new technologies rapidly
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced rapidly changing work environment
  • Must be available for extended hours and weekends when critical events dictate

Day to day

  • Develop algorithms that enable connectivity between terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites
  • Model, design, and implement wireless communication systems for a global machine-to-machine network
  • Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers on system design, analysis, and real-world integration
