Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of overall testing experience with 1 to 2 years of automation testing experience or equivalent training
- Proficiency in Java core concepts
- Strong understanding of requirements analysis
- Experience with Selenium Karate JUnit and TestNG
- Knowledge of Git version control systems
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
- Experience validating ETL tables and data using SQL
- Knowledge of AWS services for testing batch jobs including S3 EMR Step Functions Lambda and CloudWatch
- Experience in UI and API functional testing
- Experience using JIRA and Zephyr
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Good understanding of design and estimation
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Knowledge of Jenkins
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Day to day
- Design, develop, and maintain moderately complex automated test scripts for UI, API, and data/ETL validations
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve test coverage, validate software quality, and support automation best practices
