  • Strong understanding of prior authorization workflows

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems tools and workflows

  • Exposure to automation initiatives payer portals healthcare technology platforms or system integrations
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum or structured project management methodologies

Day to day

  • Serve as a strategic liaison between Prior Authorization operations engineering automation vendors and cross functional stakeholders to drive technology initiatives.
  • Gather clarify and document business requirements for workflow changes automation opportunities and new functionality requests.
  • Develop process maps workflow diagrams decision trees and other documentation to support testing validation issue resolution and change management.
