Requirements

  • 5+ years in data platform infrastructure or DevOps engineering
  • Initial experience leading mentoring or managing tech teams
  • Deep practical experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Strong familiarity with GCP data services including BigQuery Cloud Composer GKE and IAM
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines including GitLab CI Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong focus on customer enablement platform reliability governance and security
  • Professional English skills at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Open-source-first mindset
  • Exposure to PySpark
  • Open table formats knowledge
  • Interest in AI-assisted development

Day to day

  • Lead a small high-impact team of 2-3 platform engineers while remaining hands-on with technical delivery
  • Coach and support the team while driving agile delivery and managing OKRs in a fast-moving scale-up environment
  • Design reliable Terraform and Terragrunt modules on GCP and strengthen data security and self-service tooling for downstream teams
