- Proven leadership of global engineering operating models with metrics governance and delivery disciplines
- Strong technical depth in low-latency distributed systems trading infrastructure or digital assets
- Experience executing large-scale platform consolidation and shared data or infrastructure functions
- Track record operating in regulated environments with MiCA DORA or SOC 2 exposure
- Ability to communicate complex technical and commercial issues clearly to executive stakeholders
- Background as a senior deputy or operational partner to a CTO or technical founder
- Experience scaling engineering teams and integrating acquired technical organisations

Day to day
- Partner with the CTO to run day-to-day global engineering operations across multiple divisions and regions
- Own engineering cadence including OKRs monthly business reviews and delivery pipelines while ensuring teams execute with clarity and accountability
- Lead platform consolidation data governance cybersecurity execution and M&A engineering integration with a strong focus on resilience scale and regulatory outcomes
- Translate technical risks budgets and timelines into crisp executive updates for the Board ExCo and external partners
