Who you are

  • 3+ years in lead generation, sales development, or business development within the tech, software, or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of engaging prospects via phone/Zoom/Google Meet and other platforms.
  • Experience in using LinkedIn and other platforms for sourcing and engaging customers.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems for accurate data maintenance and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for effective communication.
  • Driven to achieve goals with creativity in overcoming roadblocks.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on timely follow-up and efficient sales cycles.
  • Comfortable working with data to analyze sales trends and drive data-informed decision making.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, maintain focus on goals, and execute tasks with precision.
  • Professional yet confident and outgoing demeanor in all interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to enhance methods and processes continually.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Demonstrate a passion for sales and a strong desire to develop a successful career in the sales profession.

What the job involves

  • Lead business development efforts across the EMEA region.
  • Cultivate and manage customer relationships through marketing initiatives and subsequent follow-ups.
  • Respond to inbound leads promptly and disseminate information as needed.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to bolster their pipeline by sourcing qualified prospects.
  • Strategically identify and prioritize target accounts within designated territories to drive lead generation.
  • Coordinate with the Revenue Marketing team to execute lead generation campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough research on potential customers and maintain accurate data.
  • Provide support and coordination with the Calyx team to assist prospective customers.
  • Identify customer renewal opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Engage in work that has a real impact and makes a positive difference.
