Day to day
- Become a leader of DuckDuckGo’s Site Reliability Engineering team assuming responsibility for improving the team’s processes practices and people
- Develop senior engineers ensuring that the SRE function plays a strategic role in DuckDuckGo's growth
- Lead and own hiring for the team identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the funnel to improve hiring pace and outcomes
- Act as a technical partner to several strategic product and infrastructure objectives contributing to their direction and roadmaps
- Drive resourcing and prioritization discussions providing project advisory to senior engineers
- Join and co-own on-call rotation tackling incidents in the trenches
- Identify trends and analyze hotspots with the goal of significantly improving incident response time (MTTR)
