Who you are

What the job involves

• Become a leader of DuckDuckGo’s Site Reliability Engineering team assuming responsibility for improving the team’s processes practices and people
• Develop senior engineers ensuring that the SRE function plays a strategic role in DuckDuckGo's growth
• Lead and own hiring for the team identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the funnel to improve hiring pace and outcomes
• Act as a technical partner to several strategic product and infrastructure objectives contributing to their direction and roadmaps
• Drive resourcing and prioritization discussions providing project advisory to senior engineers
• Join and co-own on-call rotation tackling incidents in the trenches
• Identify trends and analyze hotspots with the goal of significantly improving incident response time (MTTR)
