Who you are
5+ years of software engineering experience
Proficient with React and TypeScript, as well as knowledge of UI architecture and performance
Experience with Node.js, Svelte, Vue.js and Python will also be considered
Strong track record building and shipping web applications/products at scale
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong sense of ownership, from the initial technical design and implementation all the way to monitoring for issues/opportunities after shipping out a new feature
Desirables
Experience at seed/early-stage startups
Fintech/financial services industry knowledge and experience
Previously started a company and/or launched personal projects
What the job involves
Work with the staff engineers to spec and build the user experience.
Collaborate with engineers cross-functionally, as well as the product and design team to influence the roadmap and product development.
Design and evolve the frontend tech stack.
Help define and create backend endpoints/APIs if necessary.
Ideate on the future of Dispatch’s user experience.
