Requirements
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience with one front end and one back end stack
- 3+ years of recent production experience with React and JavaScript or TypeScript
- 1+ year of production experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines automated testing and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and application observability
- Familiarity with secure development best practices and Zero Trust principles
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools such as CoPilot responsibly

Day to day
- Build accessible and scalable full-stack features for a federal patient portal using React and Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate closely with engineering leads and cross-functional teammates to deliver a cohesive user experience across web and mobile platforms
- Support integrations with VA APIs backend services and healthcare data standards while maintaining strong testing observability and security practices
