Lead Software Engineer, C#, SQL, .net. Home Based with one day a month in the office in Nottingham. Salary most likely to be in the c £ 70000 - 85000 range.

To be considered you will be a strong hands-on C# developer with further knowledge of architecture, design, performance and load testing, working within a team, taking the technical lead within a team, improving processes where required, making fundamental changes when required, driving change and more. You will have an excellent combination of technical skills, soft skills and a genuine passion for software engineering. This experience should be clear from your work history and the roles you have held.

As the Lead Software Engineer you will be the 'go to' person for technical advice and deciding the details of the technical solutions working alongisde the architecture team. You will continually be looking for ways to improve processes and procedures and you will coach and mentor other software engineers. Moreover you will make the technical decisions within the Tribe.

This is a hands-on coding role with no line management.

Tech stack is C# , .NET Framework 4.8, SQL, Javascript , AngularJS (moving away from this), AWS, Docker, React, Azure DevOps for CI/CD, SQL Database 2016

Key Responsibilities Include -

 Work with the architecture team and product owners to ensure solutions are understood, agreed and relevant. Work with the agile team to adopt relevant tools and methodologies. Take the lead on technical decisions. Delegate software engineering activities to the team. Hands-on software engineering.

Skills And Experience Required Include -

 A proven Lead Engineer with prior experience empowering and working within a small team of software engineers. Coaching and mentoring skills. Good knowledge of C#, SQL and JavaScript. Knowledge of Angular/AngularJS would be an advantage. An interest in cloud based technologies. Agile experience. Experience working in a remote environment.
