Requirements

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent major
  • 8+ years professional software engineering experience
  • 3+ years specialized experience in AI/ML infrastructure enabling distributed training for scaling large ML models
  • Strong programming skills in Python with proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or similar
  • Experience with distributed computing GPU computing and cloud environments (AWS GCP Azure)
  • Willingness to travel to Mountain View as needed
  • Comfortable working in highly ambiguous and dynamic environments

Day to day

  • Designing and developing scalable infrastructure to support training of machine learning models on large datasets
  • Implementing mechanisms to monitor and manage resource utilization across multi-GPU on-prem and cloud environments
  • Enhancing machine learning platform abstractions and APIs to improve usability and productivity for data scientists and engineers
  • Developing and maintaining tools for model versioning experiment tracking and reproducibility
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies into the platform
