Requirements
- 8+ years of professional development experience
- Experience as a Back-End Software Engineer on complex large-scale platforms
- Strong experience with JavaScript Node.js and HTML/CSS preferred
- Experience in C# .NET or Python with willingness to transition to JavaScript/Node.js
- Ability to solve complex technical and business problems
- Experience working independently and collaboratively on mission-critical initiatives
- Substantial experience with SQL and NoSQL is a plus
- Experience with microservices-based architectures
- Experience with containerized deployments especially Docker
- Experience with large-scale data systems
- Experience with message queueing architectures especially RabbitMQ
- Experience with AWS including EC2 S3 VPC Elasticsearch and Kinesis
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- IoT experience is a huge plus

Day to day
- Design and develop new features for a complex and evolving IoT platform that powers connected equipment solutions.
- Write efficient scalable reusable backend code while improving performance maintainability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams mentor developers and contribute to architecture API design database optimization and agile processes.
