Requirements
- 4+ years of server-side development in Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience with TypeScript and the React ecosystem is a plus
- Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
- Strong computer science fundamentals including big-O data structures and algorithms
- Experience designing APIs
- Experience building highly scalable distributed systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
- Experience with SQL queries database performance and NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or AWS DynamoDB
- Ability to clearly explain technical decisions
- Upper-intermediate spoken and written English
- Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely
- Ability to learn quickly and communicate about unfamiliar topics
- Ability to collaborate on technical specifications
- Performance optimization experience is a plus

- Develop and maintain flagship Atlassian Cloud products using Kotlin Java and related server-side technologies
