Requirements

  • Must work in North/South American time zones
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven delivery of scalable distributed applications in Golang on cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience working with customers to solve real-world problems
  • Strong understanding and experience with scalability issues in cloud infrastructure
  • Comfortable with UNIX environments
  • Experience with RDB systems, preferably MySQL
  • Ability to deliver quality solutions independently
  • Preferred experience in distributed companies

Day to day

  • Mentor team members through code review, pair programming, and training to enhance collective knowledge and best practices
  • Build and maintain well-architected, well-tested, and easy-to-understand services in Go for scalable messaging
  • Collaborate to define and build new features and infrastructure essential for customer and company success
  • Assist tech support teams in diagnosing operational issues to help customers achieve their goals
  • Engage in a supportive team environment that encourages professional growth
