Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent
- Experience in software or firmware development and architecture for resource-constrained microcontrollers and embedded Linux devices
- Ability to read chip data sheets schematics and write device drivers for interfaces such as I2C SPI GPIOs MIPI and ADC
- Experience using Yocto or OpenEmbedded to build embedded Linux systems and applications
- Experience with system software such as systemd cryptsetup docker and iptables
- Experience with GStreamer or other video processing pipelines
- Experience with SoC VPUs ISPs or other hardware video processing pipelines
- Experience with edge AI
- Basic hardware knowledge relevant for embedded Linux devices
- Proven track record of designing and developing IoT solutions preferably with AI or computer vision capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proactive about anticipating and addressing issues before they arise

- Design and develop next-generation IoT AI vision sensors and life safety devices used across senior living facilities.
- Partner closely with product management and engineering peers to define architecture and implement mission-critical embedded features.
- Mentor junior team members and lead projects through the full development lifecycle while improving reliability and time-to-market.
