Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design with a focus on 2-sided digital platforms
- Proven experience conducting user research and using insights to drive design decisions
- Experience planning and conducting usability testing for design validation
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects with an emphasis on marketplace products
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools
- Demonstrated ability to deliver components for and contribute to a design system
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment
Day to day
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers engineers and other designers to understand project goals and requirements
- Conduct and contribute to user research activities to gather insights that inform the design process
- Plan and execute design validation through usability testing ensuring that user feedback is incorporated into the design iteration process
- Create user flows wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity designs for responsive web and native mobile applications
- Drive the progress of the SaaS vertical and its product suite
- Design and iterate on features for a B2B2C marketplace in order to power the next generation of jewellery businesses
- Deliver high-quality visual design assets and specifications for both mobile and web implementation
- Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system ensuring consistency across all digital products
- Ensure implemented designs are monitored for success by driving the measurement of user behaviour through product analytics and other quantifiable research practices
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices and apply them to your design work
