Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java or JVM languages (Scala, Groovy, Kotlin etc.)
  • Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), REST APIs, event-driven and domain-driven design.
  • AWS experience including API Gateway, Cognito, ECS and Lambda.
  • Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with React and JavaScript is a plus.
  • B2B SaaS Experience.
  • Experience in building new platforms with modern tech stacks.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and environments.
  • Passionate about learning, teaching, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and proactive approach to challenges.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
  • Ability to work with new platforms and refine add-on services.

Day to day

  • Spend 25-30% of your time working closely with our offshore partner ensuring successful collaboration, architecture best practices and delivery. Engage in new platform work, while refining add-on services and assisting with greenfield projects.
  • Dedicate approximately 30% of your time to coaching and mentoring the team. Transitioning from our legacy tech stack to our new Spring/Java SOA platform.
  • Contribute to a vibrant team culture, fostering continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate with our product team and subject matter experts to ensure our products meet market demands and client needs.
