Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of UX/UI experience or commensurate experience
- Expert proficiency in Figma prototyping and complex UX workflows
- Demonstrated experience leading research testing and UX strategy
- Deep knowledge of Section 508/WCAG accessibility and compliance
- Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and engineering teams
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
Day to day
- Lead UX strategy and design execution across enterprise-level VA applications.
- Create advanced prototypes workflows and interaction models in Figma while aligning with VA design standards and engineering constraints.
- Plan and lead Veteran-centered research usability evaluations and accessibility-focused improvements to deliver high-impact user experiences.
