About The Role

Hipcamp is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on mobile development to join our consumer-facing Camper Experience team within our distributed Engineering organization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with expertise in mobile development, specifically building and maintaining production, cross-platform React Native applications. The Camper Experience team oversees the entire customer journey, from Discovery to Booking, presenting a variety of challenges and opportunities in our work. What Success Looks Like

What sets you up for success

5+ years of experience developing consumer web and mobile applicationsProficiency in TypeScript, React, and Design SystemsExtensive experience with React Native and GraphQL, and familiarity with Ruby on Rails (or the ability to ramp up very quickly)Proficiency in both front-end and back-end architecture, with a strong focus on mobile application developmentStrong communication skills, written and verbalComfort working in fast-paced and dynamic startup environmentComfort collaborating with a distributed teamComfort working with applications and systems at scale
