Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction Design Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5-7+ years of experience in UI/UX design user research or front-end development
  • Strong portfolio of data-heavy applications and complex user journeys
  • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews workflow observation and task-based usability testing
  • Proficiency with Figma Adobe XD or similar design tools
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Day to day

  • Lead user experience strategy for defense-centric capabilities from concept through deployment
  • Transform complex data from legacy systems and multiple feeds into intuitive actionable interfaces for mission users
  • Conduct user research stakeholder interviews and task-based usability testing to improve workflows and drive iterative design
  • Design dashboards wireframes prototypes and accessible interfaces that meet DCSA standards and Section 508 requirements
