Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience including leadership of engineering teams
- Proven ability to take initiatives from architecture through to production and own outcomes
- Experience architecting and operating scalable systems services and data infrastructure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level collaboration
- Proven track record of recruiting and retaining senior engineering talent
- High integrity accountability and ownership
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Masters or PhD preferred

Day to day
- Lead Adelaide's engineering function and set the technical direction for software and infrastructure that power AU.
- Own the engineering strategy, roadmap, and delivery cadence while partnering with Product, Data Science, and the executive team.
- Architect scalable data infrastructure, measurement platforms, and application systems, and ensure reliability, quality, security, and observability.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team while building a culture of ownership and accountability.
