Remote VP of People Job in London, UK Fundraise Up

Who you are

• Deeply understands both Eastern European & North American cultures
• Fully own all pillars of People: Hiring, HR, Training and Compensation
• Certified in either SHRM-SCP or SPHR
• No requirement for a US work visa
• Must be able to travel to the US
• Minimum of 15 years People experience including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role preferably as VP of People
• Experience managing a team of 15-50 members
• Previously held a VP position at a tech cloud startup with 200-600 headcount
• Reported to CEO/COO/CFO not Chief People Officer
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Located in the CET timezone with availability to overlap with US working hours

• Oversee the recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent
• Implement programs for professional development, leadership training, and career progression to enhance employee skills and engagement
• Design and manage performance review processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues
• Develop competitive compensation and benefit plans to attract and retain employees
• Maintain positive employee relations, resolve conflicts, and ensure a healthy work environment
• Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace
• Align the organization’s structure, culture, and workforce with its strategic objectives
• Ensure the organization complies with all local and country employment laws and regulations
• Develop, implement and revise HR policies and procedures to meet the organization’s needs and comply with legal standards
• Use data and analytics to make informed decisions about workforce management, planning, and optimization
• Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction
• Participate in strategic planning at the executive level, aligning people strategies with business objectives
