About JerseySTEM
JerseySTEM is a network of parents, professionals, students and educators dedicated to promoting excellence in STEM education. They partner with local schools and other organizations to create and enhance STEM-oriented educational opportunities that support students’ paths toward college and career readiness, and to develop effective STEM programs and initiatives that engage students and educators. JerseySTEM is also committed to bridging the gender gap in STEM education and sharing STEM-related opportunities with underprivileged students and communities.
Mission and direction
JerseySTEM is a nonprofit organization focused on enhancing STEM education for middle school girls, particularly in underserved New Jersey communities. By collaborating with local schools, organizations, and socially responsible companies, we aim to create innovative educational opportunities that prepare students for college and careers, while addressing the gender gap in STEM fields through hands-on learning and community engagement.
